Software Quality Engineer (Playwright+Selenium+REST Assured)

About the job 

We are hiring a Software Quality Engineer (Playwright+Selenium+REST Assured) who will be a strong partner to our customers, guiding their teams on testing delivery best practices. Internally, you will also be responsible for communicating and contributing to the continuous development of the Quality Engineering Center of Excellence best practices, go-to-market approach, and overall client engagement best practices. As the QE on the team, you would need to be based in Latin America or Brazil, willing to work from 9am – 5pm Pacific time and will need to pass a criminal, education, and employment background in order to be considered. 

Please note: based on our remote work approach and compensation strategy, we are not considering candidates from expensive areas like Toronto, New York City, or San Francisco, etc. 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Ensure work quality and timely delivery of the automated scripts to your assigned clients.
  • Work closely with Engagement Managers and Testing Managers in understanding test automation priorities and estimating script creation hours.
  • Contribute in the PR review process along with the Quality Engineering Manager.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing the data.

What you need to succeed:

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation and 2+ year experience with Playwright, Selenium, and REST-Assured including writing frameworks from scratch
  • Previous experience in collaborating with different stakeholders and clients, and developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Prior knowledge in test automation, automated testing, and CI/CD.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • Be able to learn fast and continuously expand your knowledge.
  • Be a team player, socially open-minded, empathetic, and considerate of cultural differences.
