Hi there! We are Testlio, a software testing company with a freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is an excellent place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.

We are currently looking for freelance software testers from the United Kingdom to join a massive Streaming testing project we are running for one of our clients. Our client is rolling out a software update, and they need to test how their service works on Sky devices. The project will require Exploratory and Stream testing. It is a short remote gig, perfect for QA professionals looking for extra opportunities. Please note that we are looking for testers using the Sky Q service.

Requirements

• You have to be at least 18 years old
• Location: United Kingdom
  • The role is 100% remote, but for the purpose of testing, we need you to be located in the mentioned area. VPN is not allowed.
• Devices you will need: any TV + Sky Q or Sky Stream Puck
• Language: English (intermediate or higher)

What does testing look like?

• Type of testing: Exploratory, Stream testing
• Type of work: short-term, freelance
• Workload: 1 hour per week, ad hoc
• The pay rates start at 18 USD per hour.
  • We apologise for any inconvenience with receiving USD payments; since we are a US-based company, all payments are processed in USD. Usually, our UK-based testers don’t have any issues converting USD to GBP afterwards, but you might want to check with your bank to see if you expect any difficulties. • Payments are made every week via PayPal or Payoneer.
