We are hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist based in Estonia to join our Finance team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will support and improve the Finance team’s day-to-day operational Accounts receivable processes. This role requires understanding basic Accounting principles to support maintaining a healthy financial state for successful core business activities. The job holder is required to be thorough, diligent, analytical, detail-oriented, trustworthy, efficient, and organized, as well as have experience with basic accounting tasks and processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing accounts receivables activities (including setting up accounts and contracts, sending out invoices, performing collection activities, resolving outstanding payments) 
  • Perform AR month end closing activities as assigned
  • Perform AR reporting
  • Following the team agreements, policies and procedures manuals
  • Maintaining accurate documentation for financial operations and transactions
  • Contributing ideas and suggesting process improvements to drive greater efficiency

What would your day look like?

  • Reconciling incoming payments via several different bank accounts
  • Communicating with customers about day-to-day concerns (invoicing, payments, collections, payment methods, etc.) 
  • Setting up new contracts across different systems 
  • Sending out customer invoices 
  • Collaborating across teams (especially sales, delivery and business operations) to ensure smooth operations 
  • Creating different reports based on business needs
  • Open to recognize and analyze opportunities for improvement within our current processes and systems 

What you need to succeed?

Technical Skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a business curriculum, such as Accounting, Finance, etc. required
    • 2-4 years of previous experience in finance.
    • Excellent communication skills in both English & Estonian (verbal and written)
    • Ability to learn quickly
    • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Having strong work ethics
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality

    • Having a positive mindset, integrity, and honesty
