The Role

We are seeking a Creative Director with a balanced blend of digital and brand design skills, ideally hailing from an in-house background. This role is pivotal in elevating the look and feel of Testlio’s brand identity, transcending traditional design tasks to lay the foundational aesthetics that align with our strategic business goals.

As Testlio’s Creative Director, you will be an inspirational storyteller, sharing your reasoning and outcomes through the lens of trends, market understanding, and your own experiences. A champion for listening and building trust, you will have robust experience in stakeholder management, such as marketing, sales, and executive leaders. You will have the ability to create just enough processes to manage creative requests that come in across the business and coordinate these tasks to the right internal team members or freelancers.

What Would Your Day Look Like

  • Lead the creation, execution, and management of creative work at the highest level.
  • Craft compelling assets across various formats, including our website, marketing content, sales enablement materials, demand generation campaigns, videos, virtual and physical events, and more.
  • Manage the design process from conception to final execution, incorporating feedback and revisions to meet high standards of excellence.
  • Be strong conceptually and creatively, as well as a hands-on designer who enjoys execution work.
  • Uphold meticulous attention to detail and a relentless pursuit of craft.
  • Live and breathe identity systems design strategically, creatively, and operationally.
  • Collaborate closely with the VP of Marketing to enforce brand guidelines company-wide.
  • Be a leader, manager, and mentor to other designers, with one direct report to start.

What You Need to Succeed

  • 7-10 years of proven experience in brand design and art direction. A portfolio is required when applying.
  • Proven experience in managing both website and digital marketing design.
  • 2+ years of people management experience.
  • Ability to think strategically about brand identity and translate it into visually compelling design elements.
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and get the work done in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-focused design skills with a keen eye for detail and design aesthetics.
  • Strong teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with the growth team to bring your creative visions to life.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhere to deadlines, and maintain high-quality standards.
  • A scrappy, entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to enthusiastically accept challenges.
  • Proficiency in various design software and tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and web design platforms.
