Freelance Software Tester (Stream Testing, Türkiye)

Hi there! We are Testlio, a software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from worldwide companies. Testlio is a great place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.

At the moment, we are looking for software testers based in Türkiye to participate in testing the launch of a streaming app in your country on April 14th at approximately 9PM local time. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the smooth launch of a globally recognized product, ensuring a seamless user experience for all users in Türkiye.

For this workspace, we will be focused on payments, streaming, and functional testing on a variety of devices. If any costs are incurred during testing, we will fully reimburse you, alongside your hourly pay rate.

To participate in this project, you will need to create an account on our platform. Through this account, we can assign you testing tasks. You will be asked to use our website for defect tracking. You will be provided with materials on our website that will help you understand the principles of software testing and how we operate, ensuring you’re fully prepared for the tasks ahead.

Requirements

• You have to be at least 18 years old
• Location: Türkiye
• Availability: April 14th at approximately 9PM local time
• Language: English (intermediate or higher) for reading the testing instructions and collaborating with the testing team
• Devices you may need: Windows, macOS, Android Mobile, Android Tablet, Android TV, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Tizen, LG TV, TitanOS, Vestel, VIDAA, Vizio, BluTV, Playstation 4/5, Xbox One S/X
• Experience: While software testing experience is not required, it is a plus. You must be at least willing to go through reading materials that will prepare you for testing on the day of the app’s launch.

What does testing look like?

• Type of testing: Functional, Stream Testing, Payments Testing
• Type of work: short-term, freelance
• Workload: The test run during the app’s launch will take 4 – 6 hours
• The pay rate for this is $15 USD / h, and you can also receive the following bonus payments:
  • Participation bonus worth $30 USD – paid one time after you finish testing the app
  • Referral bonus forth $15 USD per referral – refer a friend who will participate in testing to claim this
• Payments are made weekly via PayPal or Payoneer
