Freelance Software Tester (Localization Testing, Danish)

Hi there! We are Testlio, a software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.

At the moment, we are looking for freelance software testers who speak Native/Bilingual Danish to join us in testing a globally known social media app.

We aim to ensure that our client’s app works properly. You will be asked to verify professional translations, ensuring that the app is culturally sensitive in your language.

To participate in this project you will need to create an account on our platform. Through this account, we can assign you testing tasks. You will be asked to use our website for defect tracking and will be given some material to go through to prepare you for testing.

Requirements

• You have to be at least 18 years old
• Location: Worldwide
• Availability: Weekly testing & AdHoc testing
• Language: English (intermediate or higher) to read the instructions and communicate with the testing team, Native/Bilingual Danish to verify the Danish translation of the social media app
• Devices you may need: iOS mobile (iOS 18+) and Android Mobile (OS 13+)
• Experience: Software testing experience is a plus. As part of the recruitment process, you will be asked to take a hands-on software testing exercise in which you will test a mock app. The mock app has some bugs planted in it; your task will be to find the bugs and report them. You will also be asked to take a Localization testing course and a short quiz to ensure you are well-prepared for the actual testing.

• Type of testing: Localization, Functional
• Type of work: short-term, freelance
• Workload: We expect a weekly workload of 5h for this project. However, as part of the Testlio network, you will also be eligible for other projects on our website.
• The payrate for this is $18 USD / h
  • Payments are made every week via PayPal or Payoneer.
