Freelance Software Tester (Functional Testing, United Arab Emirates)

Hi there! We are Testlio, a software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.

We are currently looking for freelance software testers in the United Arab Emirates to join us in testing a fintech.

We aim to ensure that our client’s app works properly. You will be asked to test the client’s Know-Your-Client flow by creating a new account on the Tabby app. If you already have a Tabby account, you cannot test this flow. That is why we are looking for testers who have never created a Tabby account.

To participate in this project you will need to create an account on our platform. Through this account, we can assign you testing tasks. You will be asked to use our website for defect tracking and will be given some material to go through to prepare you for testing.

Requirements

• You have to be at least 18 years old
• Location: United Arab Emirates
• Availability: One time Testing Task on Tuesday, March 25th
  • If the short project works out, we can assign you additional tasks in this project, too.
• Language: English (intermediate or higher) to read the instructions and communicate with the testing team, Arabic since the app we test will be in this language
• Devices you may need: iOS mobile (iOS 18+) and Android Mobile (OS 13+)
• Experience: Software testing experience is a plus but not mandatory. We will provide you with documentation on how to use the Testlio platform for bug tracking, and you will be asked to finish this before you are added to the project.

What does testing look like?

• Type of testing: Functional
• Type of work: short-term, freelance
• Workload: The task on Tuesday is short, it might take 30 minutes. Additional tasks can be assigned depending on how the project will work out on Tuesday, and we will provide more information about these then.
• The payrate for this is $18 USD / h
  • Payments are made every week via PayPal or Payoneer.

• You will receive instructions on where to apply on our platform in an email
• You will be asked to go through some materials to determine your eligibility, we will share more details about these steps after you have finished creating an account.
