See open positions Starting the day with a roar My mornings start around 8am with birds singing; I live in a quiet neighborhood. My ritual is to have a shower right after waking up, prepare some fruit for breakfast, and listen to jazz music. Hunting down challenges As the head of Digital Experience Center of Excellence, my vision is to help companies become more mature in their approach to user-centric UX. Our team is devoted to building better products and making people happy while using technology. As humans, we all have a natural desire to be heard, have our opinions taken into consideration and to feel supported. This includes during our software experiences, as well. If we ignore the needs and expectations of users, they will in return ignore our products. Many companies are still trying to investigate if UX research is “worth it” or not. We have several companies approaching us without really understanding what to expect from our CoE. Our challenge is to convince them how crucial it is to continuously learn from their users. After a few years of working in the industry, I can say that frustrated users have been my closest friends. They are the best source of education we can find for how to improve other people’s experiences. Similarly, following test cases on real devices in real locations is crucial. Currently, my team is working on several types of UX testing projects in different industries that must be tested in both the digital and physical world. We have testers test web and mobile apps, and send them to physical locations in life to compare experiences and follow a typical user path. Connecting with the Pride What I enjoy the most about being a part of the TestLion Pride is the culture and our people. Our monthly connection event gives us a great chance to get to know each other better. Plus, seeing everyone in person in Tallinn during LionFest was absolutely incredible. Winding down and finding balance At the end of the workday, I usually work out or do yoga to relax. I’m also a huge fan of gardening and cooking …. especially making dishes that only need 5 ingredients. Clockwise from top left: pasta machine; ravioli with ricotta and spinach filling; beet sauce; pasta. Did Renata’s story make you want to become a TestLion? 🦁 Check out our current openings!
