Tell us a bit about yourself

I am from India, a country known for its diversity and rich cultural background. I am a very curious person and because of that, I have learned a range of languages like Marathi, Marwadi, Bengali, Punjabi, French, Spanish in addition to my three primary languages Hindi, English and Gujarati. I like exploring new things and pushing my boundaries, it motivates me to pursue more and more.

What is your educational background?

I was a Gold medallist in Maths Olympiad in my school. I have also scored highest in Mathematics in 2nd semester at my University. I graduated Computer Science Engineering in May 2021. I started Testing as an intern during my studies and I’m still doing it!

How did you end up testing for Testlio?

During my studies, I was sure I wouldn’t want to get into the technical field. I was always attracted to marketing more than anything. However, one of my friends recommended an internship in testing during the 3rd semester of my final year of studies and I got attached to it immediately. For my last year in college, I was looking for a job on Linkedin and found Testlio. I couldn’t be more glad to be a part of this amazing platform. After joining Testlio I became more passionate about testing!

Why do you Give a Damn about testing?

Yesss! At first, testing was like a hobby to me but after joining Testlio I have never felt more passionate about testing than now! I get to learn new stuff daily and Testlio is a platform where I am not forced to focus on the same type of testing or project repeatedly but I get to switch between them. At first, it was all about the money, internship, qualification, certificates but now it is all about PASSION.

How does Testlio’s pay compare to your market rate?

During my initial phase, I researched the market but couldn’t find a single company that would compensate testers better than Testlio. The atmosphere here is much more tester-oriented and we are compensated for our actual work and that motivates us to give our absolute best.

How do you balance testing and personal life?

The best thing about working at Testlio is the flexibility. I can manage my schedule super easily and take time for my personal life as well. Whenever I have less work I try to go on a short trip with my family or friends. During the more hectic times, I would have my lunch while working but then I would compensate for it the next day or week by spending more time with family and friends. So, the workload balances out quite easily and has never been a problem for me.

What characteristics help you succeed in life?

One of them is curiosity. I am always eager to learn new stuff and that helps me to push my boundaries. Another one is listening. I don’t only hear but listen when people tell me things, be it about possible improvements, learning from my mistakes or positive feedback.

What’s an interesting fact about yourself?

I love traveling and adventures. Whenever I take a break or a day off I just pack my bags and go outside. Traveling just makes me feel alive. I have a very long bucket list of adventures containing scuba diving, sky diving, paragliding, bungee jumping, cliff jumping and so on. Some of them have been completed, the rest are yet to be done!

What are some of your favorite apps?

Some of the apps I really like to use are:

  • Shotcut – For video Editing
  • Daily yoga – To keep body in balance
  • Lightroom – For Photo Editing
  • Netflix – For Binge Watching
  • Clockify – For Time Management
  • Google Photos
  • Swiggy – Food Delivery app, because at the end of the day, food is everything!!
  • Linkedin – A place where I get to learn so many things!

How would you convince a friend to join Testlio?

I would tell them how flexible the work can be, how supportive and helpful the teams are here at Testlio, how they can grow their testing skills and how they are compensated for the work they’ve done. These 4 things are enough to convince anyone about Testlio.
