Testlio x Uber drivers

Your unique experience of driving for Uber will help unlock new perspectives. You know better than anyone the challenges you might face out on the road, which is why we’re interested in collaborating with you in this project.

During this partnership, you will be able to continue servicing ride sharers in your area while flagging issues with the Uber app. Our unique approach to software testing will allow you to earn two streams of income while you drive: one for completing rides on Uber, and one from flagging bugs you may encounter while driving, all without compromising your typical driver experience.

We are currently looking for drivers in any of the following locations: Columbus, OH; Austin, TX; Charlotte, NC; Phoenix, AZ; Nashville, TN; Tampa Bay, FL; Kansas City; Sarasota, FL; Miami, FL.

The pay rate is $30 USD / h, and it is paid weekly via Paypal or Payoneer.

On average, all you’ll need is:

What you’ll do

Here are a couple of examples of testing tasks that you can expect while testing the Uber app

  • Help improve payment processing
    • Verify that trip receipts are accurate: check fare, time, distance, promotions and tip calculations to avoid missing earnings
  • Give feedback on ride or delivery experiences
    • Evaluate how the app handles multiple orders, cancellations, rider communications, and post-trip feedback, especially during peak hours
  • Rate the go online/offline experience
    • Verify that going online or offline works smoothly, even in areas with weak signal or during app updates
  • Share your opinion on new features
    • Try early versions of new app tools (like dark mode) and let us know what works and what does not
  • Improve the CarPlay and Android Auto
    • Help us ensure Uber runs seamlessly on your car’s screen: test maps, trip alerts and calls during live rides
  • Test how loyalty rewards are shown
    • Check if your Uber Pro tier, points and rewards appear correctly in the app and if you are getting what you have earned
