Freelance Software Tester (Streaming Testing, The Netherlands)

Hi there! We are Testlio, a global software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.

At the moment, we are looking for freelance software testers based in The Netherlands to join us in testing our client’s app, a leading European streaming platform developer, serving over 50 million users.

To participate in this project, you will need to create an account on our platform. Through this account, we can assign you testing tasks. You will be asked to use our website for defect tracking and will be given some material to go through to prepare you for testing.

Requirements

• Age: You have to be at least 18 years old
• Location: Must live anywhere in The Netherlands
• Availability: We do not have a set schedule for testing this app. We will let you know in advance when testing will take place via email. We estimate that the testing task will take 39 hours total, across 1–2 test runs and testing should be completed by July 20th. You can let us know then if you are available or not.
• Devices: Samsung TV Tizen 2.4 and above (Tizen 3, Tizen 4, Tizen 5 to 9)
• Experience: Software testing experience is a plus, but if you are new to testing, we offer free courses to help you learn and grow. 
  • We have a preparatory course that will teach you more about how to test in our website.

What does testing look like?

• Type of testing: functional, exploratory and stream testing
• Type of work: short-term, freelance.
• Workload: One time testing opportunity taking approximately 39 hours total, across 1–2 test runs between now and July 20. There is a possibility of this project becoming a regular testing opportunity
• Payrate: The payrate for this is $18 USD / hr.
• Payment: You are paid weekly via PayPal or Payoneer.
