Freelance Software Tester (Payments Testing, Pennsylvania & New Jersey)

Hi there! We are Testlio, a global software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.

At the moment, we are looking for freelance software testers based in Pennsylvania & New Jersey to join us in testing our client’s app, an up and coming crypto trading app.

To participate in this project, you will need to create an account on our platform. Through this account, we can assign you testing tasks. You will be asked to use our website for defect tracking and will be given some material to go through to prepare you for testing.

Requirements

• Age: You have to be at least 18 years old
• Location: Must live anywhere in Pennsylvania & New Jersey
• Language: Advanced English for reading the instructions and communicating with the team.
• Availability: We plan to test this app once for the time being. The test should not take longer than 2.5h, and we are able to assign you the task as soon as possible, either May 21st or May 22nd.
• Devices: any of the following: iOS Mobile, Android Mobile
• Experience: Software testing experience is a plus, but if you are new to testing, this is a good beginner-friendly project. You can learn about out platform and software testing through this project and then apply to other projects that we have available for your region.

What does testing look like?

• Type of testing: Functional, Payments testing
• Type of work: short-term, freelance.
• Workload: The test will last approximately 2.5h. We will be focused on the onboarding, deposit, and buy flow of a crypto exchange app, meaning that you will need:
  • A valid, non-expired US government issued ID that you are comfortable to use for the new user on-boarding flow of the crypto app
  • $10 USD used to deposit and test with in the app itself. We will reimburse you for 100% of the cost alongside your hourly payout for the task.
• Payrate: The payrate for this is $18 USD / hr.
• Payment: You are paid weekly via PayPal or Payoneer.
