Freelance Software Tester (Accessibility Testing)

Hi there! We are Testlio, a software testing company with a freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies worldwide, making Testlio an excellent place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.

We are looking for testers in AMER to join our Accessibility Testing Team. As part of this team, you will be invited to work on multiple client projects to ensure that their web—or mobile-based applications comply with Accessibility regulations, such as web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG).

You’ll have the chance to work on globally known brands. Some examples of the types of apps we’ve helped improve so far are in the streaming industry, fintech, healthcare, e-commerce, and many more.

Requirements

• You have to be at least 18 years old.
• Location: AMER
• Devices you will need: any iPhone/Android phone + Desktop PC/Laptop + Bluetooth Keyboard
• At least 5 years of experience in accessibility work
• Understanding WCAG 2.2
• Experience using tools such as screen readers, keyboard, and automation items
• Willingness to act on feedback
• Nice to have: certifications from IAAP or Trusted Tester

What does testing look like?

• Type of testing: Accessibility
• Type of work: short-term, freelance
• Workload: 20+ hours a week
  • Working hours are not guaranteed, but we will assign you as many hours as possible based on your availability. We are looking for someone who can commit to at least 20 hours of work per week to start.
• The pay rate will vary according to expertise. We will discuss this further early in the recruitment process.
  • Payments are made every week via PayPal or Payoneer.
