Testlio Clients: our pledge during COVID-19

Arpita Goala , Content Marketing Manager
March 17th, 2020

Dear Testlio Clients,

In this unprecedented time, we wanted to reach out to you. We imagine you are getting an abundance of coronavirus communications. While we pondered different approaches, we decided to send you, and all of our clients, this note at this time. We’re hopeful that it is helpful.

We pledge to you to be available, flexible, resilient, and purposeful.

Available: last week we took multiple measures to help ensure that our software, employees, and freelance network are available. While our US team and global network are already distributed, we moved our Estonian office-based team to socially isolated working setups. We ended travel. We stopped all events and gatherings. We recommitted our tester network. Given our modern cloud infrastructure and our worldwide team (e.g., we have testers in 153 countries), we are confident about maintaining software uptime and services availability.

Flexible: we understand that you may be modifying your approaches to releasing and testing your software—and that you may think about using us at different times and/or in different ways. With that, we are:

  • offering unlimited test run initiations (within our total hours agreements);
  • extending our unlimited Testlio software licenses policy (including our new modules).

If you’d like to explore modified approaches, including leaning on us more at times, please reach out to your Testlio services and/or sales contacts. You can always contact me and other leaders at Testlio too.

Resilient: fortunately, our business has been robust and economically healthy. We have been growing and operating profitably. Two weeks ago, we reorganized and further specialized to expand impact and growth. You’ll see some new titles and roles from us, all based on our commitment to serve you. With our economics, our amazing team of 75 employees and 10K+ freelance testers, our financial partners, and our relationships with 100+ clients like you, we believe that our business is in a strong position.

Purposeful: Testlio’s purpose is: we passionately test to fuel amazing app experiences. We remain committed to this purpose—for you. Further, we use six values to guide our business. Three of those that we wanted to share today are: Team is Everything, Be Kind, and Give a Damn. We care deeply about our broadest definition of Team, including you. We strive to Be Kind to all. We’re hoping that you can feel kindness radiate from us. And by Giving a Damn, we are committed to pouring ourselves into our work, for you.

We also hope that you take care of yourself and stay emotionally connected to others, even while you are practicing social distancing. If you feel like we can do more for you, or if you have any questions or ideas, please do reach out to us. We appreciate the opportunity to stay in relationship with you.

Keeping you in our thoughts,

Steve Semelsberger
CEO
Testlio Inc.
