Freelance Software Tester (Payment Testing, WA or CO)

Hi there! We are Testlio, a global software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.

Currently, we are looking for freelance software testers based in Washington or Colorado to join us in testing subscription payment processes. You’ll be purchasing a subscription that will be $20 or less, it will be cancelled, and you’ll be refunded to your same payment method. In this test run, you’ll be recording the process and sharing any issues that you come across based on various credit cards and various subscriptions. 

To participate in this project, you will need to create an account on our platform. Through this account, we can assign you testing tasks. You will be asked to use our website for defect tracking and will be given some material to go through to prepare you for testing.

Requirements

• Age: You have to be at least 18 years old.
• Location: Only open to the United States; you must live in Washington or Colorado.
• Availability: Testing is weekly and will be 2 hours or less each week.
• Language: English (intermediate or higher).
• Devices: an M1 MacBook or greater.
• Experience: Software testing experience is a plus, but if you are new to testing, we offer free courses to help you learn and grow. 

What does testing look like?

• Type of testing: Payment testing
• Reimbursement: You’ll make a purchase up to $20, cancel the subscription within 3 days, and be refunded to your payment method.  
• Type of work: short-term, freelance.
• Workload: Test runs are weekly and will be up to two hours.
• Pay rate: The pay rate for this is $18 USD / hr.
• Payment: You are paid weekly via PayPal or Payoneer.

Once registered, you’ll be prompted to sign up for this project, and you can view your profile to add additional devices, hobbies, etc, and can sign up for free training and certifications that we offer.
