Freelance Software Testing (Streaming app, Hungary)

Hi there! We are Testlio, a global software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.

At the moment, we are looking for freelancers based in Hungary to join us for a new, remote project.

We have partnered with a globally known streaming app offering on-demand and live content. The objective is to evaluate overall application stability and user experience on smart TVs. Our aim is to test out the app on a variety of devices to make sure real world users will have a smooth experience from day 1! Even if you do not have software testing experience, if you have experience using streaming apps such as Netflix, Disney+, or others, you can definitely join this project to give us your honest feedback from a user perspective.

We will ask you to use our client’s app, following instructions that we will prepare in advance. Here are some of the things you will be asked to do. If you find any issues, you’ll be asked to carefully detail your experience:

– Device pairing (if applicable)
-Browsing and searching the catalog
-Streaming on-demand video
-Streaming live content

Here’s what the timeline will look like for this projec:

• Your account creation: 10-30 minutes
• You will be added to the project, which will begin your workspace setup on Testlio:
  • ID verification to make sure you are eligible to work and receive payments for your work
  • Checking your availability during the launch date so we can assign the correct task
  • Adding you to a group messaging platform to be able to update you about the project in real-time

The first step is to create your Testlio freelancer account, through which you will access the task list and instructions during the pre-launch and launch dates.

• Age: You have to be at least 18 years old.

• Devices & System requirements: Hisense Smart TV
• Experience: Software testing experience is a plus, but if you are new to testing, we offer free courses to help you learn and grow. 
  • We have a preparatory course that will teach you more about how to test on our website.

What does testing look like?

• Type of testing: Localization and functional testing.
• Type of work: short-term, freelance.
• Payment: You are paid weekly via PayPal or Payoneer.
