Freelance Software Tester (Localization Testing, Cebuano Language)

Hi there! We are Testlio, a global software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.

At the moment, we are looking for freelance software testers who are native speakers of Cebuano to join us in testing our client’s app. For this project, we will be testing a Bible app in the Khmer language, focusing on audio features, content, and downloadable materials across iPhone and Android devices. We’re looking for testers with strong language skills and attention to detail, who can also offer feedback on cultural accuracy and relevance.

To participate in this project, you will need to create an account on our platform. Through this account, we can assign you testing tasks. You will be asked to use our website for defect tracking and will be given some material to go through to prepare you for testing.

Requirements

• Age: You have to be at least 18 years old.
• Location: You must currently reside anywhere in the Philippines
• Availability: We will be testing app on a monthly basis.
• Devices: You will test the app on iPhone / Android Phone but you will need a PC/Laptop to access the testing instructions.
• Experience: Software testing experience is a plus, but if you are new to testing, we offer free courses to help you learn and grow. 
  • We will ask you to take a Localization Course prior to being added to the project.

What does testing look like?

• Type of testing: Localization.
• Type of work: short-term, freelance.
• Workload: Approximately 2 hours per testing task on a monthly basis.
• Pay rate: $10 USD / h
• Payment: You are paid weekly via PayPal or Payoneer.
