Featuring Lisa Filemyr, Executive Director of epocrates at athenahealth
Testlio helps epocrates assure that we are providing the highest quality software to our healthcare providers so that they can provide the highest quality care to their patients.
What makes quality testing so critical for an application serving over one million healthcare professionals?
Quality is of an utmost importance to allow us to assure ourselves that those physicians have the correct complete information and are able to access that information quickly at those critical points of care.
How does epocrates partner with Testlio?
We partner with Testlio within our ongoing release cycle. We release our mobile app at least every other week and we are able to partner with Testlio within that cycle within that release cycle to parallel process and ensure the fact that we are getting a complete breadth of testing across our portfolio to ensure that the release that we push out to our providers is of the utmost quality.
How does Testlio help you maintain the quality standards healthcare demands?
Because of the breadth of development that we have across various development teams, often times our key risk areas are when we are merging in functionality from multiple development teams into a single release. That combination often presents the most risk and that’s where Testlio really helps us to regress the app and make sure that we’re not introducing any additional bugs with the combination of those two things getting integrated in together.
Why would you recommend Testlio to other organizations?
Testlio has really worked to understand our product and not just test our product. They really work to get the deep understanding so that they know what to expect and not just test the script.
What are you looking forward to next?
I’m excited about where we’re going together and look forward to a long partnership into the future.
