Freelance Software Tester (Functional Testing, Singapore)

Hi there! We are Testlio, a global software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.

Currently, we are looking for freelance software testers based in Singapore to join us in testing a globally recognized mobile security app. We’re looking for new or experience bug hunters to help test out the app on various mobile devices. If you’re keen on pushing apps to their limits and understanding why crashes occur, by also helping developers strengthen their apps, then this project might be the perfect fit for you.

To participate in this project, you will need to create an account on our platform. Through this account, we can assign you testing tasks. You will be asked to use our website for defect tracking and will be given some material to go through to prepare you for testing.

Requirements

• Age: You have to be at least 18 years old.
• Location: Singapore. The use of VPNs is prohibited for this project, so you must be physically located anywhere in Singapore.
• Functional testing: We will provide you with test cases. You will be asked to follow them and document your experience with the app. If you discover a crash, we will ask for a recording and log files of the crash.
• Availability: This is a weekly project. Depending on the workload from the client, we can expect 1-2 hours of work on this project on a weekly basis.
  • You can join other projects on our website too, if you would like to expand your portfolio.
• Language: English (intermediate or higher).
• Devices: you must have at least one of these devices in order to test. As this is a freelance gig, we will not be providing any devices at this time.
  • Samsung A05, Samsung A04e, Galaxy A23 5G, Galaxy A12, Galaxy A04, Galaxy A32, Galaxy A73 5G, Realme C35, MI 11 Ultra
• Experience: Software testing experience is a plus, but if you are new to testing, we offer free courses to help you learn and grow. 

What does testing look like?

• Type of testing: Payment testing
• Reimbursement: Reimbursements will be paid out alongside your weekly payout.
• Type of work: short-term, freelance.
• Workload: Test runs are weekly and will be up to two hours.
• Pay rate: The pay rate for this is $18 USD/hr.
• Payment: You are paid weekly via PayPal or Payoneer.
