Testlio Joins Inc.’s Best Workplaces List for 2022

Software testing leader recognized for its unique distributed-by-design culture and exceptional benefits
May 10, 2022— Testlio, the originator of networked testing, has been named to Inc. magazine’s annual Best Workplaces list. The recognition, which is based on deep analysis of employee feedback and other workplace factors, is a longstanding benchmark of excellent workplace experiences and culture.
“Our purpose at Testlio is to enable human possibilities, and this honor validates that we are on the right path,” said Kristel Kruustük, the company’s founder and board director. “From day one, we were determined to improve the experience and opportunities for freelance software testers. That commitment extends to our full-time employees as well, with significant investments that have evolved into dedicated people, culture learning and development teams.”
After collecting data from thousands of nominees via Quantum Workplace, Inc. selected just 475 honorees for its 2022 list. Each company took part in an employee survey that deeply examined topics such as management effectiveness, perks, fostering employee growth, and overall company culture. Testlio’s benefits were also audited to determine overall score and ranking, and were a notable strong point, scoring more than 10 points higher than other companies of the same size.
“We may provide the structure, but it’s our people that bring the dedication and passion that make this such a great place to work,” said Heldin Lind, VP of People and Culture at Testlio. “At Testlio, we believe that team is everything, and everything we do is for our team. We are thrilled to be on this year’s list of Best Workplaces, seeing it as a true testament to the power of our diverse TestLion Pride.”
Testlio is a distributed-by-design company with nearly 200 full-time employees in 38 countries, and a freelance network that extends across more than 150 countries. Engagement was another notable factor in Testlio’s inclusion, with more than 95% of surveyed employees indicating that they were highly engaged while being completely remote.
“Not long ago, the term ‘best workplace’ would have conjured up images of open-office designs with stocked snack fridges,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “Yet given the widespread adoption of remote work, the concept of the workplace has shifted. This year, Inc. has recognized the organizations dedicated to redefining and enriching the workplace in the face of the pandemic.”
