Freelance Software Tester (Remote in the US)

Hi there! We are Testlio, a global software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.

At the moment, we are looking for freelance software testers based anywhere in the US to help test a popular media streaming app.

In this project, you will help us check how the app works on a DISH Hopper Plus device and help reproduce any issues or bugs that may appear. Your feedback will help the team understand what is working well and what needs improvement.

Requirements

Age: You have to be at least 18 years old.

Location: Must be physically located in the United States

Availability: 1 hour of testing time for this specific request. After that, we may have additional tasks. 

Special Requirement: 

• Own or have access to a DISH Hopper Plus set-top box
• Device runs on Android TV (Android 12)

Experience: You do not need any software testing experience prior to joining. We offer materials that you can go through in order to prepare for testing with us. 

What does testing look like?

Type of testing: Functional Testing

Type of work: short-term, freelance.

Workload: Approximately 1h of work with the possibility of joining other projects after a successful test run. 

Pay rate: The pay rate for this is 18 USD/hr.

Payment: You are paid weekly via PayPal or Payoneer.
