Thus, we are seeking a remote, EMEA-based Manager of Global Compensation & People Experiences to join our global HR team and support Testlio’s team. As the Manager of Global Compensation & People Experiences, your role is to oversee a company-wide compensation and benefits system for all regions, functions, and roles. This includes the global benchmarking of compensation models and aligning those with motivating benefit and equity programs. Additionally, building a high-performance culture by delivering programs that recognize and reward critical skills, capabilities, experience, and performance, and ensuring that compensation, benefit, and reward systems are market-based and equitable. This is both a strategic and hands-on operational role. The role will report to the VP, People & Culture.

What would your day look like? 

  • Lead Testlio's global compensation delivery and being go-to expert when it comes to compensation, benefits and rewards programs.
  • Plan, develop, lead and implement policies and programs for all areas of the global compensation and benefits, aligned with business strategy and goals.
  • Proactively assess global labor market conditions, devise market benchmarks and build most effective, economical and equitable compensation, benefit and reward systems across the organization.
  • Monitor and evaluate benchmark data, trend information and economic projections in comparable industries and recommend changes as appropriate to maintain a competitive market position and internal equity.
  • Ensure that our compensation, benefit and reward practices are compliant with requirements in the regions we operate in, while also considering the global scale.
  • Partner with key business leaders and other stakeholders to manage, consult and guide compensation decisions.
  • Drive intelligent compensation and benefits decisions in key moments: new hires, new roles, promotions, recognition, etc.
  • Build and design people programs and company practices to create positive experiences to our people globally and nurture our culture.
  • Deliver generalist support and counsel and guidance in talent management, employee relations, and change management.
  • Proactively diagnose and mediate employee relations and performance matters while providing coaching and counsel to managers on a variety of work and performance matters.
  • Identify, escalate, and navigate worker relations and communication issues with an empathetic, objective, and solution-oriented approach.
  • Lead other HR initiatives and contribute to People and Culture programs and organizational change initiatives as required/appropriate.

    • Extensive experience in the field of HR, including in-depth know-how of global compensation, benefit and reward programs.
    • Ability to think strategically, globally and objectively to effectively translate data into actionable insights, strategies and compensation plans.
    • Ability to research and analyze data drawn from multiple sources to find problems and make effective recommendations and influence decisions.
    • Experience leading Worker Relations cases and investigations
    • Strong proficiency in data and analytics – can leverage quantitative and qualitative data to enable informed decision making
    • Passionate and proactive self-starter with the ability to solve problems and execute independently

Prior testing experience can be advantageous, however, the specific experience requirements vary depending on the type of testing involved. For instance, in functional testing and localization testing, we typically validate the necessary skills with certifications or relevant courses. Nonetheless, we are open to individuals with no prior experience in software testing and provide opportunities for them to join our team. Additionally, we offer comprehensive courses to equip all team members with the knowledge of the Testlio process, standards, and testing capabilities we offer.

Testlio seeks quality engineers with a high level of experience and expertise in software testing and quality assurance. Generally, we prefer quality engineers with at least 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, and with a background in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Testlio Functional Regression Testing Certification requires good knowledge and skill in functional regression testing capability. With this certification we want to make sure that candidates are familiar with the Testlio platform, are capable of following the instructions and scope of the run, and know how to report issues and perform issue reproductions per Testlio standards.

Testlio offers a flexible schedule for freelancers, and the expected workload can vary depending on individual factors such as experience, availability, language skills, and device list. Our freelancers’ workload can range from a few hours per week to up to 30-40 hours per week, depending on the individual’s preferences and the needs of clients.

The Testlio platform supports a wide range of testing types, including functional, regression, exploratory, usability, payments, localization, and analytics testing. Sometimes freelance testers can be asked to perform different kinds of testing during the runs, if they have the necessary skills, e.g. functional and localization.

At Testlio, we pay our testers by the hour (not by the bug). This helps us provide the best tester experience and the best results for our clients. All approved task payments are made weekly via Payoneer or PayPal.

No, Testlio does not handle tax declarations for freelancers. Freelancers are responsible for managing their own taxes and complying with their local tax laws. Testlio recommends that freelancers consult with a tax professional in their area to ensure they are complying with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

Testlio does payments on a weekly basis via PayPal or Payoneer.
