Freelance Software Tester (Denmark, with Android devices)

Hi there! We are Testlio, a software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value freedom and flexibility of remote work.

At the moment, we are looking for freelance software testers to join a testing project we are running for one of our clients. 

Our current client, a globally known social media company, wants to perform functional & localization testing on their app. For this purpose, we are looking for native Danish-speaking testers in order to ensure that the Danish localization of the app is up to standards. 

We are looking for testers who have prior software testing experience. As part of the onboarding flow for Testlio, you will be asked to pass an in-house simulation for Functional & Regression testing. You will also be asked to take a brief Localization Course, which includes a short quiz.

Requirements

• You have to be at least 18 years old
• Location: Denmark
• Devices you may need: one mobile device (iOS/Android, but Android preferred) and one Desktop PC/ laptop (Mac/Windows)
• Software Testing knowledge is mandatory, as you will be asked to take an in-house certification to verify your functional testing knowledge. For Localization testing, some knowledge is preferred, but we will offer you a short course that you will be asked to pass as well.
• Certifications: Functional Regression Testing Certificate & Localization – you will be asked to take both of these on the Testlio Platform, and more instructions will be sent after you create your account.

What does testing look like?

• Type of testing: Functional, Localization testing
• Type of work: short-term, freelance
• Workload:  AdHoc, approximately 5h per week
• Average run time: 1 hour
• The pay rate is 20 USD per hour.
• Payments are made on a weekly basis via PayPal or Payoneer.
