Finance Associate

We are looking for a Finance Associate to support and improve the Finance team’s day-to-day operational processes.

As our business grows, so must our dedicated Finance team. Our Finance Associate is a professional who provides support to the financial department. Your main responsibility will be to coordinate and manage invoice processing and to drive revenue collection and recognition. The role includes also Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting and Analysis (e.g. management reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, cost and profitability analysis) and other process-oriented activities to support Finance department. To be a successful Finance Associate, you should be thorough, diligent, analytical and detail oriented. The job holder is required to be trustworthy, efficient and organized to support maintaining a healthy financial state for successful core business activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out the monthly invoicing processes and manage account receivables activities, credit and collection activities.
  • Review customer contracts and to ensure revenue is recognized in accordance US GAAP, ASC 606 and internal policies.
  • Generate monthly revenue analytical reports.
  • Perform month end closing activities as assigned.
  • Support the Financial Controller and ensure a smooth running of all aspects of department.
  • Perform month end closing activities as assigned.
  • Provide different analysis to budget and assist to prepare departmental financial reporting.
  • Address financial issues and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Perform financial and accounting related activities in a timely manner.
  • Assist in financial audits and implement audit recommendations.
  • Evaluate financial documents for correctness and completeness.

What do we expect from you?

  • 2+ years of previous working experience in Finance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business curriculum, such as Accounting, Finance, etc. is required.
  • Fluent in English (written and oral).
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail and proven strong work ethics.
  • A positive can-do mindset, with a desire and ability to quickly learn and grow to new heights.
  • You are a critical thinker who possesses ability to analyse, multi-task and solve problems.
  • Confidentiality, integrity and honesty that all come with the territory.
